Show Ss the illustration with the creative writing prompt: • What is the worst job you could imagine doing and why? • How would you feel in your day today life? 4. Give Ss instructions to look for hints in the following video clip. 5’ Show Ss the video Dirty jobs. T, this is a full episode so you’ll only be showing 1minute and 20 seconds of it. 5. This is the time for the introduction of the show which will allow you to go back to the questions previously asked. This is to have them do a speaking activity which will last about 5’ 6. Next, have Ss work in pairs. Play the Taboo Card game where Ss place the cards facing down and can’t use any of the words from the card to describe what the occupation or profession is. 10’ Link in the “recursos ”column. 7. Follow by showing the Ideal job Illustration and ask Ss what their ideal job would be. start by handing Ss a worksheet with a very simple exercise for them to match people with specific jobs with their instruments. This exercise should not take more than 5’ Link in the “recursos” column. 3. Next for a listening and reading activity show the video The super jobs. Link in the “recursos” column. I suggest you enlarge the screen to 200% to better appreciate the video.5’ Clarify any questions and make sure Ss understood the video. 5’ 4. Follow with the flashcard memory game. Divide the group in teams and give them 5’ to play. This is a very simple game. 5. Follow with the People work song and allow Ss to sing the song first without reading the lyrics. The second time Ss read and sing at the same time. The lyrics are in the same page. You’ll also find there a worksheet activity for the song. Give it to Ss to solve. All of these activities should not take more than 15’ Have Ss read the lyrics to the song and circle any vocabulary word they don’t know. 5’

The team with the most points wins. 10’ 3. Hangman. Using the same professions and occupations you’ve work with during the last sessions, play a couple of games of Hangman. Use the name of the profession, the tools of the trades etc. T, listen to Ss guesses. The team which solves the challenge first wins. 10’ Have Ss play a passive voice game.
