2.Ss stick their copy of “Walkabout with Kim Koala” on their notebooks. T gives the whole class a few minutes to read the story silently, and then has several Ss read it aloud (one sentence per S). T gives primary attention to the pronunciation. It is preferable that Ss read slowly but with good pronunciation and emphasis. 3. T has Ss work in groups of 4. T hands out the “Walkabout with Kim Koala worksheet” (the link is in the "recursos" section) and asks the groups to complete the exercises. Teacher allows students to share some of their answers. When time is up, T has the groups present their answers. The whole group checks them.

When it is time to say goodbye, T shows the Ss the song-video of “The Koala Brothers Theme Song”. If there is time enough, T shows it a second time. Lyrics: “If you're in trouble And you need someone to help you out There's no need to whistle And there's no need to shout Hey hey hey hey Help is on its way Call the Koala Brothers Call the Koala Brothers Call the Koala Brothers Call the Koala Brothers If ever things go wrong And don't work out the way you plan There's no need to worry They always lend a helping hand Hey hey hey hey Help is on its way Call the Koala Brothers Call the Koala Brothers Call the Koala Brothers Call the Koala Brothers Help is on its way”
