Class Planning: English for 1st year High School students

Project Title: Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle through English Messages in Mass Media

Objective (PDA): Retrieve messages promoting a healthy lifestyle in English and disseminate them orally or in writing through different means of communication.

Methodology: Community Project

Interdisciplinary Approach: Addressing the problem of fostering personal hygiene and cleanliness habits among students who lack them.

Session 1: Introduction to the Project (50 minutes)

Phase 1: Introduction

• Introduce the project's theme and objectives.


• Discuss the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the role of mass media in promoting it.


• Engage students in a class discussion on their current habits and awareness of a healthy lifestyle.

Phase 2: Activity

• Show examples of English messages promoting a healthy lifestyle in mass media (TV commercials, posters, etc.).


• Ask students to identify the messages and their effectiveness.


• Discuss the importance of effective communication and critical thinking.

Phase 3: Closure
