Plan de clase

Session 1: Introduction and brainstorming (45 minutes)


Objective: To introduce the topic of using English in the construction of messages in favor of inclusion, and to initiate a discussion on the difficulties students face in socializing and communicating assertively.



  1. Warm-up activity (10 minutes):



    • Begin the class by asking students to think about a time when they felt included and valued, and to share their thoughts with a partner.

    • As a whole class, discuss why it is important to create an inclusive and supportive environment.



  2. Introduction to the topic (10 minutes):



    • Present the topic of using English in the construction of messages in favor of inclusion.

    • Explain the relevance of this topic in promoting diversity, empathy, and interaction.

    • Discuss the difficulties students face in socializing and communicating assertively, focusing on the need for inclusive language and behavior.



  3. Brainstorming activity (15 minutes):



    • Divide the class into small groups.

    • Provide each group with a list of diverse topics (e.g., gender equality, disability rights, racial inclusion, etc.).

    • Instruct students to brainstorm as many ideas as possible for messages that promote inclusivity and empathy within their chosen topic.



  4. Group presentations (10 minutes):



    • Ask each group to present their ideas.

    • Encourage classmates to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.




Session 2: Research and analysis (45 minutes)


Objective: To encourage students to investigate diverse sources in English and analyze the characteristics of messages that promote interaction, awareness, and empathy with diversity.
