1. Read aloud the original text of the story by turns, and give the appropiate intention.
2. Answer orally the following questions in a group session:
• Who narrates the story?
• Describe the old man who appears in the story
• Why and how does he die?
• What happens to the corps of the old man?
• Describe the end of the story
• Where does the narrator end?
• What is the meaning of the title of the story?
3. Share the answers with the group and make a general review of the text:
• Did you like the story?
• What are the key events (most important) of the story?
• What elements did you like the most: the characters, the atmosphere, the narration itself?
• Identify the structure elements of the tale: beginning, development and ending.
