Video to learn how to read a map, in order to identify the compass rose, cardinal directions and different symbols.
Sugerencia de uso
The teacher projects the video. Finally, he/she aks the students:
- If you are lost, what should you do? They answer need a map and clues.
- Yuo know how to read a map? They say to see N, S, E and W.
The teacher explains the compass rose (North, South, East and West), the cardinal directions (northeast, southeast, northwest, southwest) and symbols (dots, triangles, colors and lines).
