1. Download the file suggested in the MED section and make copies for students. Have the beam projector ready to show the image or print it from the MED section as well.

2. In this session, students are going to work with a review of poetry terms to help them with writing and expressing emotions and feelings in quotes and poems.

3. Distribute the worksheet. Ask students to work in pairs and group the words into 2 big groups.

4. Students need to make sure they know the words and justify why they decided on those two groups.

5. When students have their groups, ask them to give you the names and write them on the board.

6. Compare and contrast names for students to see what context this vocabulary can be used with.

7. Ask students to search the words but set a time limit.

8. Ask students what kind of words they use when they want to express emotions and moods.

9. Ask students what things, animals, etc, make them experience particular emotions.

10. Project the quote and read it for students. Wait for reactions.

11. Ask students to copy the quote and write down some ideas about ´pictures' that can be poems.

12. Tell students to write a paragraph where they explain this quote. Help with vocabulary as needed.

13. Ask students to work in pairs and share their paragraphs.

14. Have a class discussion about what feelings, emotions, and moods they expressed.

1. Download the file of the board game suggested in the MED section and make copies according to the number of students you have. You are going to need dice and counts as well.

2. For the second activity, you need to project the quote or write it on the board for students to copy.

3. In this session, students are going to work with vocabulary related to feelings in a different context, that is, about personalizing the contexts.

4. Ask students 'How are you today?' and encourage them to vary their answers according to different feelings.

5. Explain that the students are going to play a board game where they talk about how they felt the last time certain things happened to them.

6. Divide the students into pairs.

7. Give each pair a copy of the game board, a dice, and two counters.

8. The students place their counters on the start square.

9. The first student to throw six starts the game.

10. The students then take it in turns to roll the dice and move their counter along the board.

11. When a student lands on a square, their partner asks them the  'How did you feel...?' question on the square.   The student then answers the question by describing how they felt the last time the thing happened to them.

12. Encourage students to ask their partner follow-up questions to continue the conversation and gain more information.

13. The first student to reach the finish wins the game.

14.When Everyones finished, have a class feedback session to find out how students felt about each topic and to elicit suitable adjectives to describe their feelings and emotions. Any interesting findings can be discussed in more detail.

16. Ask students to think of 'Love' as a universal feeling, who are the people in their lives they love?

17. Read the quote and wait for reactions.

18. Ask students to work in pairs and brainstorm some ideas on the concept of love, and trust.

19. Ask students to write a paragraph where they explain the quote.

20. Have a class discussion with the paragraphs students wrote.
