When students finish reading, ask them to sit in pairs and answer the questions. 8. Make sure students are actually discussing their answers and comparing, not only copying their answers from the text. 9. You may mention, language, religion and food to help them organize their ideas. 14. Play the video (the transcript is shown on the page as well, so you can show at the same time ). 15. Make several pauses to help students with their note-taking and help as necessary. 16. You can also pause the video right after the examples are given and comment on them with the students. 17. Invite groups of students to sit with another group, take turns and talk about ‘culture’. |

Encourage students to be open to other ideas and customs, that is, nobody is right or wrong in terms of culture so ask them what they think of that, etc. 7. Invite them to work in groups of three and ask and answer the questions they saw in the video. They may notice that even among Mexicans there are differences. 8.
