1.Download the file of the activities suggested in the MED section and make copies for students. In the first file, there are three pages in this file for you to decide how you want to work, review grammar, then practice.

2. This activity is a general review of how to use 'be going to' for future plans, intentions, and predictions.

3. It is suggested in the original instructions that to begin the lesson, students are given a grammar explanation and shown examples of how the 'be going to' structure is used. The students then make sentences about their own future using 'be going to' for future plans and intentions.

4. The students then work in groups of four and read their sentences to each other. After that, students complete a dialogue to practice the 'be going to' structure.

4. Ask students to cut up the pictures and paste them in their notebooks leaving some lines to write sentences about them.

5. Ask students to write as many predictions as possible.

6. Model the activity, for example, picture B "He is going to kick the ball" (What can you see in the picture that confirms this?) "He will score a goal." "He will pass it." "The ball will fly high." (What is your best guess about what will happen next?)

7. Ask students to share their sentences by working in pairs and reading them.

8. Choose 10 different sentences to go with each picture and ask students to dictate them to their classmates.

1. Download the files of the activities suggested in the MED section and make copies for students.

2. Ask students if they read their horoscopes and if they believe in them, why / why not.

3. Share with the class your sign and 'make up' your horoscope. Tell them that you read it this morning.

4. Write your horoscope (include silly and fun events) and discuss it with the class.

5. Divide the students into pairs and give each pair a copy of the worksheet. Explain that the students are going to write horoscopes for all the signs of the Zodiac with predictions for the following day or weekend.

6. You may want to go through how to make predictions using the future simple form 'will'. Give students some ideas for predictions to write about, e.g. health, money, family, friends, free time, love, luck, travel, etc.

7. When everyone has finished writing, display the students' horoscopes on the classroom wall. 5. Working individually, students then go around the classroom, reading the predictions for their star signs and making notes about the predictions.

8. Two days later or after the weekend, students continue with the activity by re-reading their notes about the predictions. Students then tell the class about which predictions came true.

9. Students vote for the most accurate horoscope in the class.
