Invite students to write the information under the question on the same worksheet. If they need more space, ask them to cut and paste the questions in their notebooks and give them more space there. 7. Monitor the activity and help as needed. 8. Invite students to work in pairs and talk about their ads. How similar are they? How different? 9. As a class, analyze a famous TV ad that everybody has seen and discuss why it is so effective. |

Cierre | 00:15 | 10. Tell students this is a simple format to help them organize their ideas on how to write an ad. They will notice that this format is to sell a product not a second hand item. However, they are going to use it to sell a toy, a game, clothes, etc. 11. Distribute the worksheet and guide students through it. Answer questions, help with vocabulary, etc. 12. Ask students to think of that toy and ask them what it is. Depending on the answers you can group students based on that and have cars, dolls, video games, balls teams. 13. Suggest students to number the questions, 1-5 (#1 square, #2 big circle, #3 rectangle, #4 small circle and #5 hexagon) for easy reference and ask them to complete the sections with the information asked. 14. If time allows finish the activity in the classroom. However it is possible they need more time to complete the 5 questions so leave them as homework and discuss the activity next session in this unit. |
