1. Have the beam projector ready to show the video on home accidents suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section.

2. Ask students to think of the different sources where they can find information for a project.

3. Tell students there are different sources and they are going to see them in this presentation

4. Use the beam projector to show the presentation and/or hand out the copies for students to work.

5. Invite students to work in groups of three and answer the questions.

6. Monitor and offer help as needed.

7. If time allows ask the different groups to give the answers and discuss.

8. Use the beam projector to show the video. You may want to use the previous worksheet and confirm answers using this video, or simply ask students to take notes on the different types of sources of information.

9. Play the video and pause it several times so you can discuss information with students-

11. Ask students to think of the answers to the questions in the video about different sources of information.

12. Finally, invite students to share their favorite and most common sources of information used for schools projects.

1.Download the file  suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” and make copies for students.

2. Elicit from students what an adjective is and how it is used (with a noun)

3. Tell students they are going to form adjectives using only the letters given in the activity.

4. Distribute the worksheet and tell students they have 10 minutes (or you set the time limit depending on how dynamic your class is) to complete the list of words.

5. Monitor the activity.

6. When time is up, ask students how many different words they formed (there are about 16 words). If they have less than 10, give them some more minutes to form more words.

7. Check words with the students by writing on the board their words.

8. Tell the class to make only one list by putting all their words together. How many are there?

2. Ask students how much they like animals and if they have pets.

3. Ask students to share with the class information about their pets.

5. Tell students they are going to guess the name of 30 animals, each one in 5 seconds.

You may want to ask students to just say the name or to write it on a  piece of paper.

6. Play the quiz.

7. Ask students to say the names of the animals and say something else about them such as what they eat, where they live, what kind of animal that is, if they have seen one, etc.

8. Tell students that when they read or write about a topic, these 6 questions are important to ask.

9. Invite students to guess what those 6 questions may be.

10. Ask students to think of animals, sports or any other topic for them to practice the 6 questions and find out more information about it.

12. Finally, invite students to sing and dance to the song.
