1. Have the beam projector ready to show the videos  suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section.

2. Introduce the expression ‘I like’ (pizza) and ‘I don’t like’ (Mathematics) and underline the  nouns (direct objects) and guide students to  identify those functions in the sentence.

3. Ask students what food they like, or vegetables or fruit and underline the nouns as well.

4. Play the video and make pauses when the structures are presented for students to copy in their notebooks and repeat the examples with you.

5. Invite students to sit in pairs and personalize the exercise by telling their classmates what they like and what they don’t like.

6.Invite volunteers to share their sentences with the class and ask students to raise their hand if they like or don’t like the same things.

7. Use the beam projector to show the video Food.

8. Ask students a couple of questions about likes and dislikes, “ Do you like milk?” , “Do you play football?”, etc.

9. Ask students to write down the first example in their notebooks and repeat it with you and repeat the same procedure with the other sections of the video.

10.  Elicit from students when we answer ‘Yes, I do’ and how we answer in negative using the short form.

11. Finally, ask students to ask and answer the questions in the video to other classmates and try two different original questions.

2. Invite some  students to tell you three things they don’t like by saying “I don’t like----“ under the heading  you are going to write on the board:  fruit / vegetables / places.

3. Count how many students dislike the same things and elicit from students, “We don’t like…,…” and to raise their hand as they say it.

4. Divide the video into 3 sections: affirmative, negative, questions and take some time to elicit from students the information.

5. Invite students to copy in their notebooks   information from the video and to focus on the differences in singular and plural.

6. Tell students to answer the questions in the video and then ask them to another classmate.

7. Distribute the worksheets to students.

8. Offer help with vocabulary as needed.

9. Tell students to answer section 1 individually and check answers.

10. Invite students to work in pairs and work on section 2.

11. Finally, ask students to work on section 3, Draw a picture and share it with other classmates.

1. Download the files suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales”  and make copies for students.

2. Ask students which activities they like, going camping, going shopping, watching tv, playing video games, riding their bike, etc.

3. Then, ask students which of those activities they love or hate.

4. Give them a personal example to illustrate the different degrees like-love-hate.

5. Distribute the handout and

ask students to work in section 1 individually.

6. Check answers with the class.

7. Review with students ‘I like’ , ‘I love’, ‘I don’t like’, ‘I hate’, etc. and ask them to work on section 2.

8. Invite students to work on section 3 in pairs as well as section4.

9. Monitor and offer help with grammar as needed.

10. Distribute the handout and

Guide students through it.

11.Tell students they are going to stand up and mingle so they can ask different students the different questions in the activity.

12. Monitor the activity and make sure  students are actually moving around the classroom and asking different students the questions.

13. Finally, invite some volunteers to share the information they got about their classmates by saying, ‘Luis doesn’t like going _____ but María loves____’ , etc.
