Students are going to review the demonstrative adjectives. This is a very good practice for students when describing a musical instrument, for example, “This is a guitar…”, “Those are drums….” 3. Present THIS- THESE and work on pronunciation, THIS IS A GUITAR / THESE ARE GUITARS. |

Read and explain as necessary ‘this-these-that-those’ and make emphasis on pronunciation, do not forget that grammar and phonology are linked here. (The right pronunciation is going to give you the correct grammar). 6. Ask students to read the sentences in exercise 2 and draw pictures. 7. Ask students to show their pictures to other students and talk about them using the demonstratives. 8. Continue working with exercises 3 and 4. 9. Check answers with the class and make corrections as needed. |

One more idea is to choose the piano, for example, and talk about it for your students to write those keywords in the organizer. 8. Monitor and offer help as needed. 9. Encourage students to be creative and try to remember the sentences and facts they worked with along with his unit. 10. Ask students to swap their visual organizers with other students and read what they wrote about that particular instrument. |

Because they are young students, it is better if you help them reading the sentences, and guiding them, but give them thinking time to choose their answers. 15. For exercise 2, make sure students understand that there are mistakes in the sentences so you may help by reading the sentences two or three times until they identify the mistake. |
