1. Have the beam projector ready to show the activity suggested in ‘Materiales Educativos Digitales’.

2. Write on the board a statement and an information question and read them, i.e., I like ice cream .and Do you like ice cream?

3. Ask students what differences they see, point at the question mark.

4. Invite students to answer that question.

5.Tell students they are going to listen to a catchy song and learn about statements  and questions.

6. Play the song and teach the words.

7. You may also want to present the video with no sound and present the information at your own pace and rhythm, then do the song.

8. Present the rest of the WH_words and ask students to answer the questions on the video using personal information.

9. Inivite students to stand up and sing and dance to the song.

10. Tell students they are going to practice WH_ words by watching a video.

11.Invite students to sit in pairs and ask them to write down the questions in their notebooks in different columns.

12. Play the video but without sound and let students work.

13. Play the video again with the original sound and ask students to repeat the questions.

14. Finally,  if time allows, invite students to ask and answer the questions in the video

1. Have the beam projector ready to project the  suggested activity in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” .

2.Download the file and make copies for students.

3. Elicit from students the difference between statement and question.

4. Check the difference and ask students to give you a couple of examples.

5. Hand out the worksheet.

6. Monitor the activity and offer help as needed.

7. If necessary, provide extra examples for students to understand the difference.

8. Invite students to work in pairs and check their answers.

9.Use the beam projector to show the video.

10. Skip the introduction to the experiment in the video and show how the materials are being used. Do not play the sound of the video.

11. Tell students they need to ask 2 or 3 questions about what they see, i.e., what kind of candy is she using?, is she using soda or water in  the experiment?, etc.

12. Help with grammar as needed.

16. Invite students to work in groups of three and read their questions. How different are they?

17. Finally, invite students to say of the sentences they wrote and write them on the board.

2. Ask students to write two possible questions to ask the teacher in the video they are going to watch about the experiments which use water.

4.Tell students the video does not have sound so they need to pay attention to the materials and steps to them.

5. Invite students to work in pairs and record some information on each experiment.

6. Play the first experiment and monitor.

7. Ask students questions such as, “ What materials do you need?”, “what do you need to do first? “, etc.

8. Repeat the same procedure for the next experiment and this time ask students to write down some questions about it.

9. Monitor and offer help with grammar.

10. If time allows play the third experiment in the video and repeat the procedure.

11. Review with students yes/no questions and give some examples.

12. Invite some students to come to the front of the class and take turns answering the questions.

13. Click on the answers and check how they did.

14. If necessary, make corrections.

15. Finally, repeat the exercise in pairs and tell students not to write the answer just answer them orally.
