Show some visuals of different signs ( visuals students have worked with. You can use their textbook) and ask students to ‘read’ them, i.e. a green light > go, etc. 3. Ask students to put those expressions in negative, i.e., ‘don’t go’. 4. Tell students they are going to watch a story and sing a song. |

Continue with the song which is a good TPR activity so have students imitate the gestures and sing along. 7. There are more songs and stories in this video, it is recommended that you choose the ones that best suit the needs of your class and your time. However, the third song shows a sign (no swimming) that you can use for the context of reading signs. 8. Invite students to sing one of the rap songs and encourage them to create some moves to go with it. |
