Play the video and make pauses after each step shown and talk to students about it. 6. Invite students to work in pairs and invent a conversation to invite a friend to play. 7. You may want to model the activity and suggest some ideas. Monitor and offer help as needed with grammar and vocabulary. You may also use the conversations in their textbooks as a reference but encourage students to be ‘original’. That is, not to copy the conversations. 8. Choose some pairs at random to play their conversation and praise them on their effort. |
