1. Have the beam projector ready to show the videos suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section.

 2. Write on the board the question, ‘WHAT’S YOUR NAME?, underline the WH_ word and ask students to think of another question that starts with that same word.

3. Ask students what other WH_ words they remember from previous lessons.

4. Tell students they are going to see in the video 7 WH_ words and ask them to write them down with the questions used as examples.

5. Play the video and make pauses for students to copy the information.

6. Invite students to work in pairs and ask each other those same questions and write down the answers in their notebooks.

7. Choose some students at random to report what questions they asked and what answered they got.

8. Play the video one more time and ask students to read the questions aloud.

9. Write on the board in CAPITALS   and in this order  3 sets of these words,   WHERE  /   WHAT  /  WHY  / WHO  /  HOW   / WHEN and ask students to read them aloud.

10. Tell students they are going to listen to a song and you need some volunteers (3) to come to the board.

11. Play the song and ask students to number the WH_ words in the order they sound in the chorus. They are sung 4 times and pause the video.

12. Ask the class to check if the numbers students gave to the WH_ words on the board are ok.

13. Continue with the song, let students listen to the song, and ask them to sing the chorus.

14. Have some volunteers say the questions in the song and help as needed.

15. Play the video one more time and ask students to sing along.

1. Download the file suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” and make copies for students. Have the beam projector ready to work on an interactive worksheet, as well.

2. Ask students to mingle and ask in 3 minutes as many students as they can, ‘Do you like playing video games?’ and ‘Do you like to ride a bike?

3. When the time is up ask students to report how many students they found out like those activities or hobbies.

4. There are two different games to play with the same cards in the suggested file. Decide which modality fits the type of your class best. The instructions to play the game come in the same file.

5. The mime game is a very good activity for young students.  Divide students into groups of 4 and hand a set of cards to each group.

6. Ask students to place the cards face down in a pile on the desk for them to take turns to pick a card and mime the activity.

7. The rest of the members in the group guess what that hobby is and the one who guesses correctly gets to keep the card.

8. The students with the most cards at the end of the game I the winner.

9. If time allows you can proceed to the second game using the same cards which is a T / F game.

10. Tell students they are going to practice asking and answering questions about themselves so play the video without sound and have students read the questions aloud or read them after you. There are more than 10 questions so you may want to modify the activity according to your class time.

11. Play the video again and read the questions for them. Invite them to answer aloud the questions using personal information, the whole class at the same time.

12. If you want to use all the questions in the video, choose some of them to be answered by choosing students at random.

13. Ask students to ask three different questions to three different classmates and practice the questions learned.
