1. Have the beam projector ready to show students the activity suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales”  and download the file and make copies of the worksheet for students.

2. Ask students what their favorite hobby is and make a list on the board.

3. Distribute the first page and ask students to identify the different hobbies and write the names.

4. Check the answers with the class.

5. Continue with exercise 2 where students have to write the hobbies they like and the ones they don’t like from the box above. Encourage students to add some others from the list you made on the board and help with vocabulary as needed.

6. Invite students to work in pairs and answer exercise 3. Go over the list on the left about the objects and help with vocabulary.

7. Invite pairs of students to say their answers.

8. The last section in the worksheet is for you to do it with the whole class. Read the sentences aloud, clarify meaning, paraphrase and wait for answers to complete with the mystery word (a free-time activity)

9. Ask students “What's your hobby? What do you like to do? What is fun for you?” which is the chorus of the song they will listen to.

10. Play the video and tell students to pay attention to the hobbies mentioned.

11. Work with vocabulary and ask students to sing “What's your hobby? What do you like to do? What is fun for you?”

12. Play the song again and invite students to clap to the rhythm as well as miming the hobbies, playing the guitar, swimming, playing tennis, etc.

13. Invite the class to sing along and mime the actions.

1. Download the files and make copies for students of the activities suggested in the”Materiales Educativos Digitales”.

2. Ask students to draw the 3-5 hobbies you are going to dictate. Suggest your students draw stick figures, something simple, swimming, taking pictures, playing video games, singing, reading, and show their ‘words’ to a classmate to compare and contrast.

4. Tell students they are going to work on a collection of flashcards. They need to color the pictures.

5. Monitor the activity and review the hobbies so students can write then names of the hobbies on the other card.

6. Invite students to sit in pairs and ask and answer questions about what their hobbies are, what they like and don’t like by showing the flashcards.

7. Ask students to paste their flashcards in their notebooks.

8. Ask students to tell your hobbies they remember and spell them for you.

9. Distribute the worksheet and review the list of hobbies.

10. Ask students to work in groups of three and divide the list of 30 words into groups of 10. Each student takes one section and searches the words.

11. Ask students to complete the word search by copying their friends’ words.

12. If students need more time to search their words, assign it for homework, and check answers, next class, as part of the ‘descubre’ section.
