Desarrollo | 00:30 | 3. Before starting the class, you may want to review as a class the days of the week, time telling, numbers and the routines students learned previously. 4. Ask students at random different questions related to the topics they already know for example: “What day is it today? At what time do you have Math? What time is it now?” etc. Elicit answers and accept all of them, only correct students if they make serious mistakes. 5. Give the photocopies away and have students read the different actions for the routine out loud. 6. Go over the activities one more time as a group if necessary, especially the ones in the activity. 7. Organize students for them to work in pairs and give them enough time to complete the activity. 8. Ask students to draw the hands on the clocks according to the time they do the routine activities mentioned in the activity. 9. As students are working walk around to monitor their work and help in any way you can.

Remind students some months have 30 days and others have 31, help them find out how many days there are in June. 6. Have students complete the calendar by writing the numbers according to day of the week of the actual month and year. 7. Focus students’ attention on the questions at the bottom of the page and go over them one by one. 8. Read the questions out loud as a class, and clarify doubts if necessary. 9. Ask students to answer the questions with the information from the calendar they just completed. 10. If possible, have students do the activity individually, if they struggle, have them work in pairs only for this last part of the activity. 11. As students work, walk around the class and monitor their work. Help them with spelling or grammar if necessary.

Review as a class all the elements in a calendar by saying the months, days and numbers out loud. 4. Give the photocopies away to students and read the title and instructions out loud. 5. Make sure students understand the instructions very well, since they will have to do this activity individually. You can take this worksheet as part of their evaluation. 6. Go over each section and read the questions out loud. Clarify any doubts if necessary and make sure they know all the activities mentioned. 7. Ask students to start working on the activity by themselves and as they are working, walk around the classroom to check and monitor their work. 8. Once students finish, you could ask them to exchange their worksheets with a classmate to review their work.
