Inicio | 00:05 | 1. Have the video and flashcards suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section ready. 2. Prepare the beam projector to show the video and the flashcards. 3. If you find it useful, print and laminate the flashcards and have them ready for the class or if you prefer it, use the beam projector to show them to students.

Desarrollo | 00:35 | 4. Show students the first flashcard and have them notice the whole elements of the calendar. 5. Practice the numbers from 1 to 31 as a class and tell students to count also how many days there are in a week. 6. Proceed with the rest of the flashcards one by one and make sure students understand the meaning of the days by double checking their meanings. 7. If you decided to laminate the flashcards, you may want to play some TPR and speaking games as a group for students to learn the vocabulary. 8. Make sure to explain students the difference between weekdays and weekend. 9. Next, project the video on the board using the beam projector for everyone to see it. 10. Play the video and have students listen to the song. 11. Teach students the song and encourage them to sing reading the days of the week. 12. Play the video several times for students to learn and practice pronunciation. 13. Play the video one more time and sing with and without the music. 14. For students to continue practicing the days of the week, you can sing the song every class until they learn it by heart and becomes part of your class routine.
