Start the class discussing as a class some of the characteristics of living beings, size, color, parts, etc., and this time include traits such as what they are made of, what they eat, if they grow, etc. 3. Elicit answers from students and encourage them to give you as much information as they know. 4. Give the photocopies away and read the title and the questions in each column. Clarify the meaning and make sure they understand each of these traits. 5. Focus students’ attention on the pictures in the first column and ask several volunteers to identify the objects and name them 6. Do the first example as a class and complete the five columns for the first object. Make sure students understand what to do with the rest of the examples in the activity. 7. Have students work individually, but if you see they struggle, have them work in pairs. 8. Walk around the classroom and make sure students answer all the questions for each object. Solve any doubts they may have.

Read the questions in the first example and answer them as a class, so students know what to do with the rest of the sections. 7. Ask students to continue with the activity by themselves and answer all the questions in each section. 8. If students struggle working individually, organize them in small groups so they can work together.

Ask a volunteer to read the instructions out loud. Help with pronunciation if needed. 6. Once students know what to do, have them complete the activity/quiz individually. 7. Once students finish the quiz, ask students to work in pairs to review their work and their answers. 8. Walk around as students are reviewing their quizzes and monitor their work. 9. Check the answers as a group by having volunteers read the sentences out loud and have the group say the correct answer. Allow students to change their answers if they are incorrect.
