Inicio | 00:05 | 1. Download and print the flashcards sets suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section in advance or have a beam projector ready to show the flashcards to students. 2. Before starting the class, have students talk about the different professions and occupations they know. Encourage students to tell you as much as they can even if it is in their own language.

Desarrollo | 00:35 | 3. Show the flashcards with the pictures to students one by one. Make sure you enunciate the words. 4. Double check the meaning of the vocabulary by asking volunteers to say the word in their own language. 5. Play some TPR and speaking games for students to learn the vocabulary. 7. Place all the cards on the board facing backwards and play memory with all the class. Students have to match the drawings with their names. 8. Point to the flashcards in disorder and practice saying the words aloud with students.

Then, ask students to read the names of the professions aloud or they can read them after you if you consider it necessary. 5. Ask students to help you drag the correct word to match the pictures with their names. If possible, let students do it. 6. Encourage students to say aloud the names of the professions and occupations and to check their answers once the exercise is over. 7. Discuss as a group how different are these professions from the ones they know or are familiar with.
