Inicio | 00:05 | 1. Have the video and worksheet suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section ready in advance. 2. Have the beam projector ready to show the video and download the worksheet. If students are not very familiar with writing, you can print only the third page of the worksheet, which is a simplified version of the activity. Make a photocopy for each student.

Desarrollo | 00:35 | 3. Play the video and have students listen to the Question Word Song. Write the questions on the board and make sure students understand their meaning. 4. Play the video a second time and encourage students to say the question words aloud as they appear to practice pronunciation. 5. Before giving the photocopies of the worksheet away, write on the board the 7 questions in it and review them as a group. 6. Once students understand the questions, have them answer the worksheet with their own information. 7. Ask students work with a classmate and have them share their information by asking and answering the questions to each other.

Encourage students to give examples of questions using each word and the examples provided. 5. Now, have students work in pairs and give away the photocopies. 6. Read the information in each card aloud and make sure students understand it. 7. Have students use question words to ask their classmates information about the different characters in the boxes. Do the first card with the whole a group as example and if necessary, write the questions on the board.

Even though this is a domino activity, students at this age will find it easier to form questions with individual words. Ask students to cut down each box individually. 5. Once all students have their own set of words, ask them to work in pairs so they form questions with the words they have. 6. Walk around the class and make sure students are forming questions correctly. 7. Then, have students paste the questions they formed on a piece of paper and ask the questions they formed to each other.
