Read the introduction with the definition of a modal and focus their attention on the examples so they remember about these auxiliaries. 5. Have some volunteers read the table with the modals aloud as well as the examples and uses of each one. 6. Have students copy the table in their notebooks and ask tem to be careful so they do not make any spelling mistakes. 7. Organize students in pairs and ask them to write their own examples. Give them enough time to complete the task and walk around to monitor their work.
