Desarrollo 00:15 3. Give students only the photocopies that correspond to week 1 this time, and have the rest of the photocopies ready to hand them out at the beginning of every week. 4. Go over each word of the vocabulary list as well as its meaning and clarify any doubts.

Cierre 00:40 5. Organize students into groups of four and ask them to make flashcards with the word, its meaning and a small drawing. 6. Tell students they will be working together every week to do the same activity and to develop their project. 7. Make sure that when students present their project at the end of the unit, they have their vocabulary flashcards complete to complement it.

1. Download the “Present simple explanation + exercises” presentation from the Web site suggested in the “Recursos” section to your computer or tablet. 2. Remind students about the functions and uses of the simple present tense and have them give you some examples.

3. Project the “Present simple explanation + exercises” presentation on the board using a beam projector for students to see it. 4. Go over the presentation and clarify any possible doubts. 5. Ask students to complete the exercises individually in their notebooks as the presentation is being shown.

6. Once the presentation is over, ask students to work in pairs to check and compare their sentences, walk around to monitor their work and help them to correct any mistakes if necessary. 7. Ask some volunteers to share their sentences and answers with the rest of the class.

Evaluación Assess students' oral and written expression levels: • Students are able to identify sentences in simple present tense, in the affirmative, negative and question forms. • Students are able to read and complete sentences in simple present clearly and fluently. • Students are able to understand sentences in the simple present • Students have enough vocabulary that allows them to understand the simple present forms of affirmative and negative sentences as well as questions.

1. Have the “Present Simple” interactive exercise from the Web site suggested in the “Recusos” section ready to project. 2. Remind students about the uses and functions of the simple present tense, have them give you some examples and write them on the board to analyze them.

Prepare two sets of small pieces of paper (One with numbers 1 to 42, as the number of sentences in the exercise, and the other with the number of students you have in your class) and put them into two separate containers. 4. Show students the “Present Simple” interactive exercise using the projector, and tell them they will solve the exercise in turns. 5. Tell students you will take one paper out of each container, one for the number of the student and the other to assign a sentence to solve, this way everyone will participate. 6. As students complete the sentence, write their answers in the provided space and once you reach sentence 42 click the “done!” button to see the answers.

7. Ask students to work with a partner and have them write at least 5 sentences using the simple present. Walk around to monitor their work.
