Erase some main verbs, sequencing phrases or vocabulary words. Replace the words with blanks. 2. T explains to the Ss that they will do a listening exercise. T gives to the Ss the sheet with the incomplete lyrics and plays the song. Ss listen to it, reading the lyrics. Ss try to fill in the blanks with the words they hear. T plays the song 2 or 3 times. T asks a S to say and spell the first word aloud. The whole class checks if the word is correct. T corrects the mistakes if it is necessary. When all the blanks are satisfactorily filled in, the class reads the lyrics out loud together in chorus. To finish the activity, they sing the song. |
