1. T says hello and explains Ss the importance of singing to improve their fluency. Students watch the video “Make a cake”.

2. T divides the class into 2 teams, one team of boys and another of girls. The members choose the name of the team by voting. T gives every team the lyric of the song “Make a cake”. T checks the pronunciation of the most difficult words. Teams have fifteen minutes to practice the song. Both teams decide which will be the first to sing by heads or tails. The loser team starts singing the song. The best performance wins a prize.

3. T gives the Ss the worksheet “Learning to follow directions” and they will complete it for homework. T says goodbye and encourages Ss to continue singing the song at home.

1. T says hello to Ss and gives them the topic for the class: What is an instruction manual and what kind of information it contains.

2. T explains Ss what is a manual and projects on a screen an example (link in the “recursos” section) . T explains to the Ss what kind of information it contains. T and Ss analyze carefully every part of the manual. 

3. T asks some questions to Ss about the information from the manual. T divides the class into teams. T gives every team the name of a very common product. Every team has to write a manual, which contains some instructions about how to use the product. Ss do some drawings to make easier the understanding of the instructions. Every team explains how was the process to write the manual, the difficulties they found and how did they solve them.

4. Ss watch the video Following Directions with Goofy”. T explains what the Ss don't understand, gives the last comments and says goodbye.

1. T welcomes Ss and asks somebody to sing a song she/he has learnt in class about how to follow instructions.

2. T explains Ss they are going to play with an interactive video. It describes every step Ss have to follow to make a robot. T gives Ss the instructions about how to play and divides the class into teams. Every member takes a turn to play. A member of every team records how much time every mate spent in building the robot. The best times of every team compete among them. This process continues until there is a winner.
