1. T greets the Ss and asks them to sit down. This session starts with the computer game “Blast the rocket”. Ss play in couples The link is in the “recursos” section.

2. When the game is over T makes a board game with pictures of actions with regular and irregular verbs; we recommend that they use the flashcards from previous classes to reinforce vocabulary. Bring dices to class. In the "recursos" section there is a link to a board game template. T divides the group into several teams Starting with team 1 a Ss rolls the dice and advances. The S has to spell the verb in the simple past. If the S spells correctly the team stays in the box, of not thy go back 3 spaces (feel free to adapt this to your necesities of time and number of Ss). After spelling the Ss playing has to make a sentence with the verb. It´s important that the Ss practice pronunciation together after each spelling. Continue the game until a team wins or time runs out in which case the team that has advanced the most wins.

1. T greets the Ss and asks them to sit down. The Ss listen twice to the Song of Mister Morton. The Ss make a list of the verbs on their notebooks and write them in present and past tense.

2. T shuffles and stacks the flashcards on her desk and asks a S to pass up front and pick one at random. The S looks at the card and writes the conjugated verb on a piece of paper for the T. Once the T checks the spelling and makes sure it is correct the S draws the lines on the board for the Hangman. He then chooses a classmate to try to guess the word. The S writes the letters on the board and the rest of the class can give advice to the playing S. Once the S guesses the word or hangs he goes to the front and chooses another card and repeats the process, choosing a new S to try to find the word. Allow for every S to pass to the board and thus spell the word. Every time a game is finished spell the word with the whole group and check for pronunciation.

1. T greets the Ss and asks them to sit down. T asks what activities do the Ss enjoy. Mention hobbies, chores additional classes or regular activities at home.

2. T allows Ss to mention the verb and explains that to refer to activities they use –ing as an ending. T rewrites the verbs in the gerund on the board.

3. T organises Ss into groups of four, then on 1 tablet Ss load the link in the “recursos” section. T explains the dynamics of the “Rally Game”. The Ss play trying to defeat each other to practice. After a few minutes the T divides the group into 4 teams and projects the game on the big screen for all to see. The T functions as a moderator. One member of each team passes to the front and the T clicks for the first question. The Ss raise their hands when they know the answer. The first S to do it gets the chance to answer the question. The team with the most points at the endo of the game wins. Another option is that the T makes her own questions with Flashcards (link in the “recursos” column) for action verbs.

4. The T finishes the class by awarding the race places and saying goodbye to the Ss.
