Write on the board: Welcome to 2o grade kitchen!! 5’ Write on the board: Fresh berries smoothie Green salad Fresh vegetables with lemon and chili Vegetable summer platter T, tell Ss the class will continue with the next item on the list. 5’ Fresh berries smoothie Have two cups of frozen berries ready 2.- Put them in the blender. 3.- Add two cups of milk 4.- Add some vanilla 5.- Add some sugar 6.- Blend 7.- Serve 8.- Enjoy! Vegetable summer platter 1.- Have some lettuce, spinach, broccoli; carrots, cucumbers, celery; tomatoes, asparagus, mushrooms, zucchini; cauliflowers and avocado ready 2.- Wash all the vegetables except avocado 3.- Chop the vegetables in large pieces 4.- Add salt, pepper, salad dressing 5.- Serve 6.- Enjoy. 5’ When you finish writing read and elicit repetition from the Ss. 5’ T, have Ss play a memory vegetables and fruits games. These are games they have played before. Check to see if the time it takes them to finish is less. Use 10’ Have Ss work in a winter vegetables worksheet. Link in the “recursos” column. 10’ to 15’ T, there is a link to a Bingo game which you’ll need to print and have ready for Ss to play with. There are boards already made but there is also the alternative to edit them so you can print them according to your needs. Make sure you print them on board paper. This is a letters only game hence it may be a bit of a challenge for your Ss. Play a couple of games. 10’ Now play a computer game about fruits. 10’to 15’ Link in the “recursos” column.
